About Me
My name is Paul Alex Briseno. I earned a Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration on Instructional Technology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas (2008). I also received my Bachelor of Science Degree in E-commerce Information Systems from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2005.
Currently I work as an Instructional Technology Administrator for a district in San Antonio, Texas. I provide professional development and technology training to all district employees year round on all applications and technologies that the district has to offer as well as bring in training from companies or other trainers, speakers and presenters. I also supervise three Instructional Technology Facilitators who provide technology integration training and support to 17 campuses in the district. I have been working in the Education field since 2003 where I started off as a CEI Computer Lab Facilitator at the Elementary level. After a year of working with elementary students in the CEI Computer Lab I moved into the Secondary level and taught Technology Applications at a high school in San Antonio, Texas for two years.
I am also a part-time adjunct faculty member at Our Lady of the Lake University where I have the pleasure of teaching Educational Technology courses for grad students who are pursuing their Masters Degrees and working on completing the Master Technology Teacher certification.
It is my goal through this blog to reflect on my learning, teaching, and experience with technology in the education field as well as to show others how technology greatly affects all of our lives at home, work, school, or play.
